In need of a treat but money is tight?
Self-care doesn’t have to be expensive. Here are 10 ways to treat yourself with no money.
1 – Take a bubble bath
When was the last time you had a bubble bath? Take away all stresses and strains with a nice long bath and use up that bubble bath you were given for Christmas.
Take 15-20 minutes out to be still. Meditation will help you feel so much better about yourself and reboot your body. I personally find it best to meditate first thing in the morning.
3. Shave or wax your legs
Having silky smooth legs feels amazing. Take some time out and give your legs that needed treat they deserve. I constantly touch my legs after they have just been waxed. They are super soft.
4. Cover your body with your favourite body cream
Smoother body cream over your body massaging deep into the skin. This will feel so luxurious and you will smell amazing.
5. Read a book
Set aside some time for yourself to read a book. Reading shouldn’t just be for annual holidays. Lose yourself in a good story and let your imagination and mind wander. I wrote about reading in How to be happy
6. Have a proper breakfast
When was the last time you made breakfast? Pancakes don’t have to just be for pancake day. For breakfast this morning I made myself peanut butter (no palm oil) on brown bread with 1 banana cut into slices. Absolutely delicious.
Take the time to taste the foods and enjoy the moment.

7. Get your nails done
I regularly get my nails done. I just have gel nails on top of my natural nails. You can check out some of Nail designs. I spend between £15-20 each month getting my nails done however it needn’t cost you anything as you can give your own nails a manicure.

8. Give yourself a facial
I love facials. Prepare by collecting all your favourite face creams, eye cream and a tad of face oil. If you don’t have any face oil, I recommend Bio Oil this product is so underrated.
Put a headband on, lie out on the sofa or bed and start massaging your face and neck.
9. Put on a face mask
We are a face mask family. If you don’t have any face masks. You can make your own. I have made one out of egg white before. This tightens the pores. There are so many ideas on Pinterest
10. Give yourself a pedicure
When was the last time you treated your feet? If you haven’t got a foot spa then a bowl of warm water with bubble bath in will do. Soak your feet for a good 15 – 20 minutes. Once soaked, wrap them in a towel. Cut those toenails and remove any dead skin. You could even paint your nails.
Once this is done, give your feet a really good massage. For foot massages I use a minty foot cream it leaves my feet all tingly and fresh.
