Slug and Lettuce – Cocktail Masterclass
I was very kindly invited to the Slug and Lettuce situated on the Harbourside in Bristol for a Cocktail Masterclass along with a group of other UK Lifestyle Bloggers.
Bristol has 2 Slug and Lettuces and the Stonegate Company that own Slug and Lettuce has just finished a 300 thousand refurbishment.
Walking up to the Slug and Lettuce the first thing I noticed was the pretty large bird cage which had a couple inside. It looked so romantic, with its pretty flowers and fairy lights.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the 2 Ladies that work for Stonegate who promptly gave me a prosecco and we sat down ready for our cocktail masterclass. The Slug and Lettuce is a Cocktail Bar in Bristol so it seemed perfect to do a masterclass here.
I have a preference for nicer bars!!!!!! Looking around the premises it looks trendy and modern.
Sitting on a high stool, laid out in front of each of us where all the items we would need for the cocktail masterclass.
I started making my cocktail.
Above is the one I made. I think I need more practice! A virgin pornstar martini mocktail which tasted just like a J20.
This is the one the barman made. He did an amazing job, didn’t he?
I also made a virgin mojito mocktail basically swapping rum for apple juice. Absolutely delicious.
After we finished making the cocktails the food came out.
The Slug and Lettuce certainly didn’t skimp here. At first 2 platters came out and I was concerned that it wouldn’t be enough for us all. Platters kept appearing and we had so much food for us to choose from.
I am not eating meat at the moment for Lent so I opted for the vegetarian platters.
At the time It was recommended I try the vegan nachos. These were delicious.
The night was a lot of fun. We all enjoyed the cocktail masterclass and the food was spot on!
What’s handy is you’re able to park so close at millennium square car park
