Meditation & Mindfulness
For many years I have studied and practised Meditation and Mindfulness. This is a daily habit of mine, it is my way of life. Anyone close to me will know that I harp on about being mindful instead of having your mind full.
There are different types of Meditation. However, with the breathing and light meditations, there is no religion attached. You are merely being in the moment and devouring the deliciousness of each breath you take. Your focus is purely on the breath and if your mind has a thought, you become aware of the thought without judgment and bring yourself back to focusing on your breathing.
I love meditating and feel quite refreshed after. When I began meditating I did it to guided meditations on Youtube. I would find a quiet place that I couldn’t be disturbed and then would put the earphones in my ear and let the guided meditation begin.
I decided this year that I would back up what a practice with qualifications. Recently I completed a few courses however I am still studying. If honest I think I will always be studying and growing as a person. One of the courses I am currently studying is Qigong. This is very similar to Tai Chi.
Below are some of the recent courses I have completed.
My interest in energies and how the brain works is MASSIVE! Every morning whilst I get ready I listen to information about frequencies and how our brains change. Scientists call the changes in our brain Neuroplasticity. I am so interested in how frequencies affect our lives and wellbeing.
Last Friday I did a couple of classes to close friends who enjoyed it thoroughly.
Due to this, I have been asked to attend one of their workplaces to a well-known company to do mindfulness meditation in the lunch hour. I think it is great that Companies take wellbeing of the employees seriously. My sister also attended the class last Friday so this week she brought her boyfriend to mine so I could do meditation with them. Feeling much more confident I thought I would do a guided meditation on them after we had done mindful meditation. This particular meditation took them to a special garden with beautiful sea views. I asked once we had finished about their experience and each felt so happy and really felt that they were there in that moment.
